Beautiful moon I am your child
In your silvery light my dreams run wild
The dark blue sky crisp with ice surrounds you
As stars bring favours and wishes true
 
And I reach you when I’m dreaming
Awake asleep I reach you still
One day I know I really will
Run until my feet lift off the earth and touch you for real
 
I think that may be my journeys end
For to touch you now would just blow my mind
And all dreams illusions and magic
May not quite match the reality
 
And I reach you when I’m dreaming ….
 
 I feel lost and I feel connected
And I feel no matter where I am in this world so vast
With people so different land so changing
You will always remain the same
In your silent serenity giving me hope and peace
And stirring my emotions
 
And I reach you when I’m dreaming ….
 
 And I will swim amongst your silver light
And dodge and dart amongst your stars
And your mystery will hold me bound
And I will live forever in awe of your presence
