Film & in the Studio

Along her journey, Eva has composed music and written bespoke songs for film and soundtrack.

She has been very fortunate to work with several talented musicians and filmmakers along the way, including Lol Hammond, Emma Croft, Allan Niblo, and Samantha Seager, to name a few.

Eva has most recently been involved with filmmaker and actress Emma Croft www.instagram.com/emmacroftfilm/
Along with Lol Hammond, they composed the soundtrack to Emma & Samantha Seagar's Film 'Invincible', written and adapted for screen by award-winning Torben Betts.

A character-driven comedy drama about neighbourliness and class divisions (or lack thereof); Invincible follows Emily and Oliver-a liberal, middle-class couple from the South of England-who move up North to live a cheaper life as the 2012 recession hits, and raise their children among what they term as "real people".
There, they invite their neighbours round for a drink, and what unfolds proves that they are not so different after all. A poignant and life-affirming film, beautifully made.

On the back of Invincible, Eva was lucky enough to have been asked by Emma to join her team of professionals as composer for her film company, Emma Croft Film.
Their first film together, 'Holding On', is a beautiful short.

"Through diary footage filmed over many years and a fleeting yet precious summer, a single mother records her son's transition into young adulthood whilst struggling to keep a connection with him. She turns the camera on her son and his skateboarding hobby, documenting him growing up and, in turn, rediscovering herself. The film combines documentary and poetry to delve deep into a mother's complex and profound love for her only son. It is a bittersweet depiction of a mother's gaze as she watches her son's last summer of boyhood. While the mother tries to hold on tight, her son teaches her to let go."
