Infinite Wisdom
Submit be still don’t say a word
10 tons of bricks on your head
Try reaching your ears and wipe the shit from your eyes
But you’re stuck can’t move paraylised
A surge from within
A volcano erupting
The lava slaps and
Scorches your veins
A firework exploding words fall from your mouth smouldering on ears of disbelief
Boundaries been crossed the lines have been broken
And respect in a jar lies smashed on the floor
While the splinters of glass pierce their skin
A surge from within …
But a pillar of wisdom you know nothing
And we bow as you say what you will
With zips shut tightly on mouths sore and angry
Parched from the well we drink
A Mother sweeps her young ones covers their ears
Stay away with your point of view
Children so porous like soft precious sponges
Soaking up words as we speak them
A surge from within …
And with anger so great as your truth slaps their face
A joke cracks and breaks the momentum
And words you said just smoke and dissolve
And disappear as their relief has awoken
A surge from within …
