My Brother
My is suffering he calls my name
My sister crying s he calls my name
My heart feels like a deep red fruit
Bruised from life split from truth
Weeping sweet juices that sting
Draining slowly with every beat
The rich ruby liquid of our sons
Spilt and stained across the land
The radiant waters of our daughters
Wasted and tainted used and altered
Watching an indigo sea turn brown
Witnessing skies of rainbows drown
Melting a need a reason to learn
Igniting inside only to burn
Blister and scar unnerve deform
Beat and batter in uniform
The poor fruit it can lie no more
To face this world we made our whore
My is suffering
My sister crying
My heart is bleeding
My heart weeping
