Surrender 

The Earth supports my body
holds my hands
caresses me and eases my puzzeled brow

The undulating waves
an inconclusive haze
past out played over and over

Do not carry it to the grave
the body need not sustain
such ill harmony

Give freely to the Mother
she gently obliterates
every morsal every atom every energetic state

And she whispers…

Mighty hands and tender arms cradle
happy are you now to feel her embrace
is not just for the others

Feel her breath on your face she cries

the Heart the Spirit the Soul need not sustain

Gladly taking the offering Girl
gladly take the offering Maiden
gladly take the offering Crone

singing all the notes
only YOU can make
Sing them all the way home…..
